WAWWA THE MUSICAL YOUTH 
 

THE FOLLOWING ARE APPLICABLE TO ONLY WAWWA THE MUSICAL YOUTH

 

The Aims of the Youth Theatre are:

 

·        To provide a supportive and safe environment for young people aged between 12 – 19 to engage in drama and theatre-related activities on a regular basis.

·        To encourage and facilitate the development of skills related to theatre and drama.

·        To provide opportunities for all members to take part in regular Youth productions on any Theatre stage.

·        To give members the opportunity to take part in additional workshops and events throughout the region.

·        To provide a place for people with an interest in theatre and drama to meet, make friends and have fun.

·        To achieve our aims we demand respect and good manners throughout the time spent under our care

  ACTUAL RULES

 

All Members of the Youth Theatre must:

·        Be .10 years or over.

·        Attend regularly on a Tuesday evening  throughout the year

·        Arrive on time for sessions, rehearsals and productions.

·        Be willing to participate in all activities and co-operate with the rest of the group.

·        Be prepared to give an extra time commitment to the Youth Theatre if they wish to take part in a production or concert

·        Demonstrate responsible behaviour at all times.

·        Act in a supportive and respectful manner to everyone within the theatre at all times.

·        Pay the required fees promptly at  a time decided by the management Commitee. Weekly subscriptions are payable even if you do not attend rehearsals

Gi   Give notice  of their intention to miss a rehearsal. This can be done via the web site through the contact page

·        Purchase a Company T-Shirt at the current cost

 

 

The WAWWA MUSICAL YOUTH will not tolerate:

 

·        Unruly or uncontrolled or violent behaviour.

·        Rudeness and bullying of any description.

·        Unwillingness to co-operate or participate in activities.

·        Any behaviour that has a negative impact on the group as a whole.

·        Anyone missing three rehearsals consecutively except for illness ,this will definitely result in loss of membership with no re-imbursement of any monies paid

·        Anyone falling behind in their subscriptions

·        Smoking or drinking within the rehearsal premises or theatre or while in the charge of the Company

·        Continuely missing concerts shows or fundraising events

        mobile phones being on during rehearsal

SHOULD ANY MEMBER EXPERIENCE ANY PROBLEMS WHATSOEVER  PLEASE TALK TO ONE OF THE DIRECTORS  OR ADULTS PRESENT ASAP

Anyone infringing any of the above rules will be ask to leave immediately with no re-imbursement of any monies paid to the youth theatre

The purpose the rules and their strict adherence is to ensure everyone learns and has fun and furthers the name of WAWWA THE MUSICAL YOUTH to be an asset to the parent COMPANY WAWWA the MUSICAL THEATRE COMPANY
