JOIN US
We are always on the look out for
new members for acting dancing and singing. For these departments
would be members do have to have an audition but it is a small private
audition with only the Directors present. We need people with a love of
the theatre to join us for set building front of house and general
helpers, including fundraising and marketing there is always loads to
do. If you are interested please contact us by phone, e-mail or letter
or in person . This is a wonderful hobby and you would be joining a very
special elite group of people
WAWWA can provide a rounded
learning curriculum with opportunities in all areas of theatre, whether
it be on stage, back stage, lighting, sound or front of house.
Rehearsals provide an opportunity to mix with like-minded people, to
prepare for a new show/performance and also to learn about theatre in
general. Naturally WAWWA is not exclusively open to new talent and its
membership does also include many people from other societies with lots
of experience which each is willing to share. WAWWA also boast a good
active social life. As with all organizations worth joining there is a
membership fee.
We are also proud of the fact that
quite a number of our members have moved on to careers in the
professional arena.
